Soil Sampling Services
The first crucial step to a successful growing season is the soil. Knowing exactly what your soil contains, needs, and can hold is step one to a successful plant. When you choose AgSource Laboratories for your soil testing needs, you receive a team of skilled samplers, analysis at our accredited laboratory, map book and independent recommendations.
AgSource offers GPS grid sampling and zone sampling:
- Grid sampling can be done in 1-, 2.5-, 3.3-, or 5-acre grids, allowing for extreme accuracy year in and year out thanks to GPS points.
- Zone sampling allows a field to be broken down in similar areas and can be managed differently per zone allowing maximum return in each area of the field.
Nutrient Management Services
AgSource’s team of experienced agronomists work one-on-one with each grower and farmer to create a nutrient management plan designed with the unique goals of the operation in mind.

Our precision ag services include custom variable rate (VRT) application files, nutrient mapping and aerial imagery just to name a few. Our team works with you to review your soil test data and develop a fertilizer goal with you. We can create VRT recommendations on fertilizer and planting – allowing the right placement of nutrients to maximize plant productivity and soil health.
